Winter is just around the corner and nothing makes me happier to eat than soups!
This recipe is so easy and will make a great pick-me-up lunch or a nice "get well soon" snack. This recipe takes about thirty minutes if you already have the chicken cooked and shredded and fills about 4-5 bowls. You can always make a bigger batch if needed.
Chicken Noodle Soup Recipe:
5 cups chicken broth
2 medium carrots, sliced
2 stalks celery, sliced
1 cup noodles (uncooked egg noodles or penne)
1-1.5 cups shredded, cooked chicken breasts
black pepper and salt
1-2 cloves garlic, minced
1) Heat broth, pepper, carrot, celery, garlic in 2 quart saucepan over medium heat to a boil
2) Stir in noodles and chicken in saucepan. Reduce heat to medium. Cook 10 minutes OR until the noodles are tender.
3) Add salt to taste. Serve!
What's your favorite soup to eat during the winter? Enjoy! xoxo
