Ah-Choo! It all starts with a sneeze and then soon enough you got a fever. However there are still things that need to get done! But here are 2 ways you can recover:
1) REST!
Although you still have probably a MILLION things to do, don't forget to rest your body. You can't buy another body at Saks or Bloomingdales, you only have one! Beauty benefit: They call it beauty sleep for a reason! You definitely can notice a difference in a well rested person and a not well rested person by looking under their eyes. Puffiness, circles? Those are a thing of the past when you develop a good routine of beauty rest.
2) Drink Water!
A fever causes you to lose body water and if don't drink enough it could lead to severe dehydration which can WORSEN your fever! (Trust me, I learned this one the hard way) Even though drinking water might be the last thing that you want to do when you are sick, it is the most beneficial thing you can do. The water with flush out any toxins in your body thus causing you to be well again! Beauty benefit: Water hydrates your skin causing it to glow naturally!
After these steps have been followed, you still might have to go to work or run errands or of course have to do something MAJORLY important (which is always the time my body chooses to get sick). One thing to keep in mind is, you don't have to look DEAD! Here are some tips to keep you looking fab even though secretly you feel like crap:
1) Mix your favorite moisturizer and a drop of your foundation together and apply all over your face. This will give the illusion that you are wearing makeup and the moisturizer will make your skin look dewy and healthy.
2) Fill in your eyebrows with a powder. This will make you look like you took a lot of time to get ready since this step always pulls any look together.
3) Using a pink/red color lipstick, slightly dab this color on your cheeks and then onto your lips. Again, you want to look alive not like a vampire!
4) Curl your lashes and put on a waterproof mascara to complete the look.
